Teen Vogue

I've been reading Teen Vogue for a long time - for so long that they still had a UK edition when I picked up my first issue. I only have a few months left of my teenage years, and I'll be sad when I can no longer  justify buying Teen Vogue so regularly.
My favourite part of the whole magazine is definitely the fashion editorials - for years at school they were my inspiration for my outfits for non-uniform days and weekends.

Daks

It was this advert in Septmeber Vogue that I kept flipping back to look at, rather than any of the editorials. I adore the shape of and the pattern on the skirt, and how the stylist has kept things simple and classic and just paired the skirt with a black jumper.
I'm definitely going to seek out Daks but I fear it's a British heritage brand and will be horribly expensive.

Reading Material

I asked my father to pick me up i-D magazine and Elle Collections when he went to London yesterday, as they're both rather hard to find in rural Kent. He came back with (from left to right): Grazia, Harpers Bazaar, Elle Collections, i-D, Vogue UK, Vogue US, Elle and Teen Vogue, just as I was running out of things to read.

Home Sweet Home

I go back to university soon and while I'm looking forward to going back (seeing my friends, no curfew, no dog hair on my clothes, having my entire shoe collection), there are definitely some things I'm going to miss about being at home. Namely; my family, my pets, having my meals cooked for me, having me laundry done, a clean house, TV, and my lovely bedroom, which I got Just Right about three days before I left for university.
I think the bookshelves are my favourite part of my room. I've about 50 more books, 20 more magazines and a lot more DVDs in my flat at university, so for once, my shelves aren't ridiculously cluttered.

Grazie Grazia

I'm a big fan of Grazia magazine - it's my favourite weekly magazine. I like the way its different every week and one regular piece that really interests me is the debates they have on an issue that has arisen from the news that week.
They ask their followers to give their opinions on whatever topic is being discussed. The topics are not always relevant to me (anything to do with working in an office, for example) but the debate from Issue 267 (3rd May 2010) was something I have experience in and felt strongly about. So, I tweeted them, and my tweet was printed.

Best Glamour Shoot EVER

This has to be the best shoot Glamour (UK) has ever done. Every clique in the common room had this stuck up on their notice board, until our head of year told us to take them down.
From the October 2008 "If men edited Glamour" issue, this is a typical Glamour shoot - fresh faced model looks gorgeous in party frocks - but add Ed Westwick, and suddenly it's quite special.

My favourite part? They've tried (and failed) to disguise the fact that the model
is several inches taller than Ed Westick.

Wardrobe of Inspiration

I like to cut editorials and adverts out of magazines and stick them up on my wardrobe. My mother is convinced it's some body-aspirational thing, and is worried that I am going to develop and eating disorder, but really it's just that I like what's in the pictures.
