Westfield Stratford

I went to the new Westfield shopping mall in Stratford on Wednesday. It's absolutely huge, I feel like I didn't manage to see all of it. Quite a few of the shops weren't open yet, but all of the ones that were all really busy (apart from Topshop, which was dead).
At the Jamie's Italian for cocktails and dessert.
The Khiels store gave me some lovely samples, and the Zara and Topshop had some great pieces (several of which I bought). There are a lot of high street stores, even a Primark, but all of the shops are well designed, more modern, and look great.
I wore a Topshop jacket, Whistles trousers, Office ballet pumps and an H&M bag.
I'd definitely recommend a trip, but not until the hype has died down slightly - I was there at 7:30 on a Wednesday and it was heaving
Has anyone been to Westfield? Are you planning on making a trip in the future?

What I Wore To: The Zoo

I say zoo, it's more of a glorified farm that for some inexplicable reason features tigers and penguins. Although these pictures aren't very clear, I'm wearing a Topshop biker jacket, H&M t-shirt and trousers with Office sandals. Although it was sunny, there was a breeze, so my trousers, jacket and sunglasses were needed. I wish the weather would just settle on something so that I don't have to continually dress for three seasons in one outfit.

Birthday Wish List

It's my 19th birthday a week today, so I have comprised my semi-realistic wish list of what I would love to find waiting for me on the breakfast on my birthday morning.
I may have these trousers in tan and navy blue, but I really want a black pair - £35.99 from Zara.
These gorgeous heels from Office, £68 (above)
A pair of cherry red Dr. Martens, £75 (below)
Tickets to see:
Katy Perry & Take That

(I know they're both sold out, but a girl can dream).
Lovely lovely Ray Bans, £82 from Sunglass Hut
My tartan tights ripped last winter and I really want some new ones.
I love Benefit make-up. I use Erase Paste all the time, and I'm running out and I posted about my love for The Porefessional here

I think this is the first birthday in a long time where I haven't asked for something specific, so I'm looking forward to being surprised.

Holiday Packing

Tomorrow I leave for my summer holiday with my family. We are driving (brave parents- they have three teenage children) through France to Italy, where we are renting a house in Tuscany for a week. On the drive there, we are spending a night in Dijon, and the next by Lake Como. On the return journey, we are staying in the Alps and having a night in Paris.
My challenge is: we are driving there, meaning everything we are taking has to fit in the boot of our car and that I am limited as to the amount of clothes and shoes I can take.
From left to right:
Topshop jacket, Jaeger shirt, Zara trousers, floral Topshop dress, black Dorothy Perkins dress, (another) floral Topshop dress, floral H&M dress, tie dye dress from Topshop, black dress (also) from Topshop and (yet another) floral dress (also) from Topshop.
From left to right:
grey H&M t-shirt, black American apparel body, blue and white vest from Warehouse, striped tee from Gap, beige shorts from Zara and denim shorts from River Island.
From left to right:
Office wedges, beloved converse, Office sandals, Havaiana flip-flops, Office pumps and espadrilles I bought a few years ago in Italy.
I hope everyone is having a good summer.

What I Wore To: Reorganise My Room

Even though I am (fingers crossed) leaving home in less than two months to go to university, and moving out of my room in six weeks to make room for my brother, I rearranged my room today - out of sheer boredom. I've got a lot more space now and my bed should be cooler because it's under the window.
I'm wearing a Jigsaw shirt, trousers and belt from Zara, and pumps from Office.

What I Wore To: Buy A Tent

On Friday, my younger brother, my friends and I are going to Lounge On The Farm music festival, and my brother needs a tent. I wore my new jacket I got from the Topshop sale, striped ASOS top, Zara belt and trousers and Havaiana flip-flops. I wouldn't normally wear my flip-flops with this outfit but I injured my foot, so I can't wear my pumps.

Recent purchases

To get through the pain that is A Level revision, I went shopping. Quite a bit. Here are some of my best purchases:
This cotton dress from Topshop is really light and floaty. I'm definitely wearing it on holiday this year.
I went a bit crazy in Zara, getting shorts and trousers - the khakis below and an identical pair in navy blue.
The khakis are so cool and comfortable - they're a really light material. Khakis are really having a moment - both The Sartorialist and Disney Roller Girl have been talking about them. I wear mine with brogues or pumps are a sheer white shirt.
I got these sandals from Office. I love the bright colour and that when I walk, the beads made a really satisfying noise as they move when I walk. I also got these wedges from Office, to wear with shorts or one of my many floral dresses:
I'm nearly done with my exams now - only 8 days until my summer officially starts!

Printed trousers: LOVE

I don't wear trousers (unless they're slim black Audrey Hepburn style ones) and I rarely wear jeans.
However, I am very intrigued by printed/patterned trousers. They've got all the excitement of a printed dress or skirt, but easier to wear. I tend to stick to wearing darker colours so these brighter trousers seem like a risk, but one I'm willing to take.
ASOS has got some really good ones at the moment:

These ones are my favourite. They're silk and they're lovely and I have big love for the print.

If I had lots of money, I would buy these rather more expensive trousers:

Chloe

Sass & Bide

Temperley

The Chloe ones are my favourite. They're a great shape. I love the way the pattern looks like leopard print but the shapes are ever so slightly different, which would look really interesting when they're being worn.
